This exceptional wine is cold fermented for six days before 15 days of extended maceration which gives it a rich mouth feel, texture and soft tannins. It has deep earthy flavors and aromas of black cherry and cedar.

San Marcos Sunset Red is a dry red blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Malbec. Swirl and experience the floral fruity nose followed by deep flavors of black cherry, blackberry, followed by hints of strawberry.

 

PAIRING NOTES

San Marcos Sunset Red is a nice sipping wine to enjoy on a summer afternoon with a platter of cheeses: aged cheddar, blue cheese and brie.  It also pairs nicely with pasta dishes, and salmon.

Crisp like the Pacific Ocean with a citrus blossom nose and flavors of nectarine, gooseberry and hints of pineapple. It is made with select grapes from the warm-summer climate of Dulzura, southeast of San Diego.

Rosés
